Runway Looks for Less: 1A Classe by Alviero Martini Fall 2011

.
The 1A Classe by Alviero Martini Fall 2011 collection was filled with flawless layering, bold florals, over-the-top fringe and luscious furs. The brand is known for being “fashionable, but at the same time above fashion” according to Martini’s website. Martini took inspiration from around the world to create his stunning fall line.
As fall progresses, the temperatures continue to drop, which means your thicker fall layers will soon start coming out of hiding. Martini demonstrates effortless ways to layer this fall in his runway collection, making it fabulous inspiration for your cool-weather looks.

Look 1: Layered Fur

In this look, Martini manages to combine two normally separate fall pieces in one ensemble for a fashion-forward aesthetic. By mixing a fur vest with a cape, Martini creates a look that is classic and streamlined with a trendy twist

Look 2: Mustard and Tweed

Mustard yellow is one of fall 2011′s trendiest colors and Martini makes it pop in this look. Here, he also pairs two different textures, silk and tweed. The soft, mustard-hued silk top stands out against the thick, brown tweed skirt. Martini continues to add yellow throughout the look with the bag and shoes.

Look 3: Military Green

In this look, Martini adds a chic twist to military green. He creates a streamlined look by pairing a sleek olive green jacket with a matching high-waisted skirt, and adds a pop of color with a patterned yellow heel. This look has a stylish yet effortless feel that’s perfect for fall.
